Invigorating Social Justice through Faith and the Church
On Sunday, August 9 at 2:00 PM The First Christian Church will be screening a sermon preached last month by the Rev. Dr. William Barber. Powerfully preaching in the legacy of Martin Luther King, this courageous sermon is a prophetic call to action for matters of racism and economic inequality in our modern world that can inspire individuals and Christians to answer our call to seek justice in our world. Discussion will follow. There is no cost for this event.
